Custom leatherwork THIS IS ANTWERP

Knife making combines many different techniques and requires working with different materials, wood, metal, leather, synthetics, bone, etc. As I make the leather sheaths for my knives myself, once in a while people ask me to design and do custom leatherwork.

I just finished making 13 credit card pouches in vegetable tanned leather, this is the only leather I use because it ages beautifully and the tanning proces is much more “eco” than chrome tanned leather.

They will be given as a welcome gift to the participants of the D.A.T.E project. The city of Antwerp, where I live, is hosting a boot camp for young creative professionals from all around Europe. This leather pouch will be their welcome gift.
